With the Museum opening at noon today, the Vietnam history event “Marines in Vietnam: A 50 Year Anniversary Commemoration” will now go from noon to 5 p.m. Some of the presenters may not be able to make it but the following is our planned schedule at this time: 12:30-1:30 – United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration Program by Col. Mark Franklin (U.S. Army ret.) 2:00 – 3:00 – Fighting the North Vietnamese by Col. Richard Camp (USMC, ret.) 3:30 -4:30 – Vietnam: Through a Marine’s Eyes by Maj. Bill Peters (USMC Ret.) There will also be Vietnam veterans throughout the Museum answering questions and talking about their experiences as well as special exhibits throughout the Museum.
