When Jim Markson returned home from Vietnam in 1968, he dutifully carried the painful memories with him, feeling as though he was unable to share them with others. The only record of his pain rested in the letters Markson had written home during his deployment.

When Markson discovered his mother had kept the letters, he embarked on a journey of healing. Together with author Jenny La Sala, Markson shares his story for the first time through their new book “Vietnam & Beyond: Veteran Reflections” (published by Trafford Publishing).
