VinFast đã tổ chức lễ đón 999 chiếc xe điện đầu tiên đến Hoa Kỳ khi tàu Silver Queen Ocean cập cảng Benicia ở California hôm nay. Công ty cũng đã nhận được tất cả các chứng nhận cần thiết để bán xe tại Mỹ và sẽ bắt đầu giao xe cho khách hàng vào cuối tháng này.
999 chiếc xe VinFast VF 8 City Edition đầu tiên cập cảng Mỹ sau 26 ngày lênh đênh trên biển từ Việt Nam là phiên bản giới hạn dành cho thị trường Mỹ nhằm giúp khách hàng trải nghiệm trực tiếp xe VinFast từ năm 2022.
Với tất cả các tính năng của VF 8 tiêu chuẩn thì VF 8 City Edition là một nền tảng kết nối mọi khía cạnh của cuộc sống thông qua các tính năng công nghệ hiện đại như Hệ thống hỗ trợ người lái nâng cao (ADAS) và Dịch vụ thông minh. Nó cũng sẽ được cập nhật thường xuyên qua mạng (FOTA) để cải thiện chức năng của xe và trải nghiệm của khách hàng.
Phiên bản VF 8 City sẽ được bảo hành 10 năm hàng đầu trong ngành cho xe với bảo hành 10 năm cho pin (không giới hạn quãng đường đi được) và hỗ trợ khẩn cấp bên đường 24/7 trong thời gian bảo hành.
Được thiết kế cho những người thường xuyên di chuyển hàng ngày thì phạm vi pin của VF 8 City Edition gần đây đã được EPA chứng nhận ở mức 179 dặm đối với các mẫu Eco và Plus. Theo một số nghiên cứu công khai, phạm vi này tốt hơn nhiều lần so với phạm vi trung bình hàng ngày của một người lái xe điển hình ở California*. Nó sẽ được cải tiến với bản cập nhật phần mềm và phạm vi mới dự kiến sẽ được công bố vào cuối tháng 1 năm 2023.

VinFast đã nhận EPA COC để nhập khẩu và bán xe vào Mỹ và nhận thêm CARB EO để giao xe cho khách hàng tại California và các bang đã áp dụng quy tắc CARB (14 bang khác và Washington DC). Cuối cùng, VinFast cũng đã tuân thủ tất cả các FMVSS hiện hành do NHTSA ban hành.

ALL CERTIFICATIONS TO SELL VEHICLES TO US CUSTOMERS HAVE BEEN APPROVED
PORT OF BENICIA, Calif., Dec. 20, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Today, VinFast celebrated the arrival of the first 999 electric vehicles into the United States as the Silver Queen Ocean vessel docked at the Port of Benicia in California. The company has also received all the necessary certifications to sell cars in the US, and will begin delivering vehicles to customers by the end of this month.
The first 999 VinFast vehicles that arrived in the US, after 26 days at sea from Vietnam, are the VF 8 City Edition, a limited edition for the US to enable direct customer experience of VinFast vehicles from 2022.
With all the features of the standard VF 8, the VF 8 City Edition is a platform that connects all aspect of life through modern technology features such as Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and Smart Services. It will also be updated regularly over the air (FOTA) to improve vehicle functionality and customer experience.
The VF 8 City Edition will have an industry-leading 10-year warranty for the vehicle, 10 years warranty for the battery (unlimited mileage), and 24/7 emergency roadside assistance during the warranty period.
Designed for regular daily commuters, the VF 8 City Edition’s battery range has been recently certified by EPA at 179 miles for the Eco and Plus models. According to several public research, this range is several times better than the average daily range of a typical driver in California*. It will be improved with a software update and the new range is expected to be announced by the end of January 2023.
