New Vietnam operation is an extension of the successful PT Astra Visteon Indonesia joint venture supplying driver information technology to the fast- growing two-wheeler market in Southeast Asia.HANOI, Vietnam, Nov. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Visteon Corporation (NYSE: VC), a leading automotive electronics technology supplier, and PT Astra Otoparts Tbk, an Indonesian market leader in automotive component manufacturing, are expanding the production and supply of instrument clusters and multi-function displays to major vehicle and motorcycle manufacturers in Vietnam. As a fully owned subsidiary of the PT Astra Visteon Indonesia, a joint venture between Visteon and Astra Otoparts, the new Vietnam facility will initially manage pre-delivery, quality inspection and just-in-time delivery of instrument clusters and information displays for Honda’s manufacturing facility in Hanoi. “Strengthening our relationship with Honda – one of the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturers – Astra Visteon Vietnam will play an important role in driving further growth by supplying innovative electronics solutions in the fast-growing two-wheeler market,” said S.K.
