C&T Produce Wholesale Inc., hoạt động kinh doanh dưới tên L&V Food Supply, là nhà nhập khẩu có tên trong hồ sơ, có trụ sở tại Houston, Texas, đang thu hồi khoảng 1.152 pound các sản phẩm cá Siluriformes đông lạnh, khô có hạt tiêu không đủ điều kiện được sản xuất bởi một cơ sở tại Việt Nam không đủ điều kiện xuất khẩu cá Siluriformes sang Hoa Kỳ, Cục Kiểm tra và An toàn Thực phẩm (FSIS) thuộc Bộ Nông nghiệp Hoa Kỳ thông báo hôm nay. Ngoài ra, các sản phẩm này không được trình bày để tái kiểm tra nhập khẩu vào Hoa Kỳ.

Sản phẩm sau đây phải chịu lệnh thu hồi, bất kể ngày sản xuất [xem nhãn]:

Hộp các tông 2 pound có chứa “Cá Trê Dẻo Ướp Tiêu – Peppered Dried Catfish”.
Sản phẩm không có số hiệu cơ sở cũng như dấu kiểm tra của USDA. Những mặt hàng này đã được chuyển đến các địa điểm bán lẻ tại California, Florida, Illinois, Nebraska, Bắc Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas và Washington.

Vấn đề này được phát hiện trong quá trình giám sát thường xuyên của FSIS đối với các sản phẩm nhập khẩu tại một cửa hàng bán lẻ ở California.

Chưa có báo cáo nào được xác nhận về phản ứng bất lợi do tiêu thụ những sản phẩm này. Bất kỳ ai lo ngại về phản ứng này nên liên hệ với nhà cung cấp dịch vụ chăm sóc sức khỏe.

FSIS lo ngại rằng một số sản phẩm có thể có trong tủ lạnh hoặc tủ đông của người tiêu dùng. Người tiêu dùng đã mua những sản phẩm này được khuyến cáo không nên tiêu thụ chúng. Những sản phẩm này nên được vứt bỏ hoặc trả lại nơi mua.

WASHINGTON, Feb. 25, 2025 – C&T Produce Wholesale Inc., doing business as L&V Food Supply, the importer of record, located in Houston, Texas, is recalling approximately 1,152 pounds of ineligible peppered frozen, dried Siluriformes fish products that were produced by an establishment in Vietnam that is not eligible to export Siluriformes fish to the United States, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. Additionally, the products were not presented for import reinspection into the U.S.

The following product is subject to recall, regardless of the production date [view labels]:

2-lb. cardboard boxes containing “Peppered Dried CATFISH.”
The product does not bear an establishment number nor a USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations in California, Florida, Illinois, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.

The problem was discovered during routine FSIS surveillance activities of imported products at a retail store in California.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a healthcare provider.

FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify their customers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers. When available, the retail distribution list(s) will be posted on the FSIS website at www.fsis.usda.gov/recalls.
