Event: Typhoon Mangkhut is expected to make landfall in the Northern region of Vietnam on September 17-18. Heavy rainfall with flooding is expected for the Northern and North-Central region provinces of Vietnam, especially in coastal locations. Actions to Take: Avoid travel to Northern Vietnam until the storm has dissipated. Monitor the local news for updates. Seek secure shelter.
